No Wobble. Engineered in.
We’ve all experienced it — furniture that shifts, flexes, or moves every time it’s used. That shouldn’t happen, especially on a premium piece.
“This has always irritated me — and it’s something we set out to eliminate entirely.”
— Frankie Canterbury, Founder
At Craft Co, stability is engineered into every product - it is never an afterthought.
From the steel base to the fixing system, every detail is designed to eliminate movement and maintain long-term rigidity.
Designed, sourced, and assembled proudly within the UK.
6-Year Structural Warranty on any purchase

Our journey
The roots of Canterbury Craft Co go back to the mid-1950s, to a small workshop in Trinidad and Tobago, where Winston Canterbury began building furniture for his own home.
With limited tools but an uncompromising eye for quality, he crafted sofas, footstools, dining tables, desks and storage units entirely by hand — each piece built to last, each one made with care, patience and pride.
Winston passed away in the early 2000s, long before he ever had the chance to turn his talent into the full-scale brand it deserved. But his workmanship didn’t disappear. His furniture still exists today, still in use across Canterbury family households around the world — remarkably solid, barely aged, and needing almost no maintenance decades later.
Canterbury Craft Co is the continuation of that legacy.
A modern chapter built on the same values Winston lived by:
craftsmanship, durability, and creating pieces that outlast generations.
What he built with his hands, we now amplify with modern engineering, precision steelwork and premium timbers — honouring the quality he set and carrying his name forward properly, for the first time.
